Dear Sisters,
We’re coming to the closing of the year again and are as busy as ever. The Stenberg Memorial Concert is this weekend, Sunday March 25, 3PM, at Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church in Sarasota (the “cusp” between Bradenton and Sarasota). Performers are the Sarasota Young Voices and Trio Voila. It promises to be an outstanding presentation to benefit our area musical organizations. Please give it your fullest support.
The Board will meet on Sunday, April 2, 2PM at the home of Erna Munsell. At this time we will allocate these funds and submit them to the members at our regular April 14 meeting. That meeting will be held at the home of Barbara Jensen – a change of venue – and the program will be presented by Joyce Stiefel and Kathleen Crane.
Our final meeting of the year is on Saturday, May 19 – our Spring Luncheon – at Freedom Village. Please check our website for reservation information.
We are all so busy professionally that it is often difficult to fit SAI into our schedules. It seems that about half of our membership are involved elsewhere on March 25. The suggestion has been made that we re-think this program. So, put on your thinking caps. The Board will talk about this problem and we will continue our discussion at our next meeting – which will, in fact, include election of officers for next year.
We need your input, and I know you will support next years’ officers.
With love and roses,
Alice
