Amanda Lyon is the new conductor of the Gulf Coast Flute Choir. She is active in performing in the Florida Flute Orchestra, the Sarasota Concert Band, and Florida Wind Band.
Estelle Schultz is the lead flute in the Manatee Concert Band and the Gulf Coast Flute Choir.

Halide presented a program of her works, "A Bouquet of Creativity in Art and Poetry to Music" at the Sarasota Pen Women's January 2014 meeting. Oboist & SAI chapter President Stephanie Daige performed Halide's "Inspiration" and "Dreamland." The pieces were inspired by Pen Women's poems and paintings.
